Villa location
Guest reviews: Villa Agresto
The villa was perfect for the number of guests staying, each family having their own bathrooms. The location was fantastic, beautiful and quiet. The house was cool and the pool area lovely. We were a multi-generational family ranging from 11 months to 60 and had plenty of space to congregate or find somewhere quiet to read.
My only comment would be that I was surprised that we were charged €70 for the baby cot something I feel should just be included as the villa does not come cheap. Also to bear in mind there are additional local taxes to add to the expenditure.
The staff at To-Tuscany were helpful both on line and on the ground. Susanne was there if there were any questions or requirements.
Finally, if you are a wine buff you will love it. If not, you will still love it!Sienna, (30 mins away) beautiful and the spires could be seen from the villa. The Domo is amazing. A very big Coop super-market with everything we needed for a big family shop. A smaller local store was in Gaiole with some nice restaurants . San Gimignano was well worth the 75 min drive. Again, lovely places to eat, plenty of shops to browse in and architecture to admire. We meant to visit Volterra but ran out of time. Brolio Castle is worth a wander round although you can’t go inside the views are wonderful and it is free to guests of the villa.
