Villino Annalisa is a lovingly restored holiday home set in a peaceful hillside location in the Garfagnana, one of Tuscany’s most unspoiled regions. Surrounded by forest and overlooking the Serchio Valley, the property offers sweeping views of the Apuan Alps and the Apennines in the distance. It is an ideal retreat for couples and small families seeking nature and tranquillity.
The large village of Coreglia Antelminelli is just one kilometre away and offers a few local shops and authentic restaurants such as L’Arcile and Da Corrado degli Antelminelli. The historic spa town of Bagni di Lucca is a 25-minute drive away and has been known for its thermal springs since Etruscan and Roman times. The area is full of beautiful sights, including the spectacular Ponte della Maddalena, also known as the Devil’s Bridge. The charming city of Lucca, with its intact city walls and many churches, is just 40 minutes away. Pisa and the coast can be reached in about an hour. The area is also ideal for hiking, rafting, and canoeing on the Serchio River.
The two-storey villa is built from natural stone and features a shaded dining terrace and a well-tended garden dotted with beautifully planted terracotta pots. A lovely pool completes the outdoor space.
Inside, guests will find wooden beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls, terracotta floors, and tasteful, comfortable furnishings. The two upstairs bedrooms are separated by a bamboo screen. A pellet stove on the ground floor provides warmth on cooler evenings. There is no heating upstairs. The adjoining flat belongs to the owner's sister but is currently unoccupied.

Loved our stay in Italy.
We had a Birthday to celebrate, Stella the owner helped me with this it was a lovely surprise for Christopher's 60th, she organised the cake as I'd asked for but also a buffet, fresh cherries from the tree, local Tuscany wine which was gorgeous, & it so happened to be my favourite cake 🎂 lol Pavlova yummy. I txtd Stella from the 🇬🇧 & it was a lovely surprise for Christopher to walk into. Stella is very helpful if you need anything, her English is little, and our Italian is also very limited, but we managed to converse with each other via waving of arms lol & google 😄We only went to one of the local restaurant once, walking distance, we were out galavanting all the time so ate out a lot there. We visted Pisa by train, left the car at the railway station, fabulous day, great weather, it was good. Visted Florence, again super day & used the train, all went well, longer to travel but the journey was good & the train was huge ! Had an upstairs too ! Visted 3 seaside resorts, very expensive for a sunbed ! Mainly private beaches, not like other countries we visted in the past but very clean. Lovely walks round coreglia antelminelli,
