Villa Fiorella is located on the left hand side of the first building as you enter the hamlet.  Stairs lead up to the garden area and a covered terrace at the front of the villa to the front door.  Which opens directly into a bright roomy lounge/kitchen/diner; the kitchen area is arranged in an ‘L’ shape on the left and has a dishwasher, oven, gas hobs and free standing fridge/freezer.  A rear door leads out to the garden which has a raised terrace area with fantastic views across the countryside to Sienna.

To one side there is a traditional wooden dining table with four chairs and a comfortable sofa, flat screen TV with satellite and DVD player.  The villa has terracotta tiled floors and tiled and beamed ceilings throughout.
From the right of the living area is a small corridor which takes you to the bedroom which has a double bed with a modern ornate metal scroll work headboard, chest of drawers and wardrobe, and doors out to the garden.  It is possible to change the bed to a twin if required, please advise us of the configuration you require at the time of booking. At the end of the corridor next to the bedroom is the attractively tiled bathroom with large corner shower, basin, WC and bidet.

Outside there is a garden which is part paved and part grass with two terraces, one covered and one uncovered; there is a dining table and chairs and an umbrella, so you can choose where to sit and relax. The garden is fenced.

A pretty villa for two people; the city of Sienna can be seen in the distance from the raised terrace.
Air conditioning - available and charged for use.

Small dogs are welcome, there is an extra weekly charge for their stay, payable at the property.

Location: San Regolo in Brolio

San Regolo in Brolio is a lovely brand new hamlet with a small collection of villas located on the edge of the village of San Regolo, and is within easy walking distance of the centre of the village.
The hamlet consists of 5 buildings housing a total of 8 apartments, each of the villas have been thoughtfully and tastefully put together, with each accommodation having their own private garden and terrace. In addition, each villa also has its own private garage for guests use.

Located on a lower terrace to the rear of the hamlet is the shared salt water swimming pool. This is a fantastic location boasting wonderful views across the vineyards and countryside to Siena and Monte Amiata in the distance behind the medieval city.
From the hamlet it’s a short walk up hill to the famous Brolio castle, which is surrounded by its own vineyards. You can visit the castle where the 32nd Baron Ricasolli and his family live. There is a restaurant serving traditional Tuscan food and you can have a wine tasting in the tasting rooms.

Dogs are welcome, a local charge will be made per week

Pros Villa Fiorella at San Regolo was everything we had hoped for and more. Situated among a beautiful landscape in a quite country town, we felt very comfortable and relaxed during our stay. The location is perfect for hopping around to the many small villages in the Chianti region, only 20 min from Siena, and for sampling the amazing wine of this region in the multitude of vineyards and wineries that surround you. There is a small butcher and grocery just a short walk from the property, as well as a fantastic restaurant (Osteria del Castello) and the famous Castello Brolio. The Villa was very cozy and comfortable, and Maryanna, the property owner/manager, was very pleasant and helpful. The onsite washer was very convenient as well.
Cons Although this didn't bother us, it is worth mentioning that the property is very quiet and the town is very small, so if you are looking for a place with more people to interact with or a lively night life, this probably isn't the place for you. Also, very few people in town speak English, so you may want to brush up on your Italian before your stay.
Local attractions The Osteria del Castello was absolutely fantastic. Our first night in town, we went there for dinner and, feeling adventurous, ordered the 5 course chef's selection with wine pairing. It was hands down the best meal I've ever had. The service is friendly and welcoming, they really make you feel like a part of the family. We liked it so much, we went back for our final dinner in town, and it was equally memorable. There are also a number of great restaurants in Radda (just a 20 min drive away) and Gaiole.

Pros Villa Fiorella was an absolute pleasure to stay in. Everything was as posted on the website it was clean , comfortable and well equipped. The views were stunning and the environment very relaxing. The local people were so
friendly and accommodating . Our check in was excellent and without any fuss.

The location was slightly remote, however with a reliable hire car we managed to explore far and wide with ease and at the end of everyday
the villa was like coming home. Would recommend Villa Fiorella to anyone.
Cons We found the bees and flys a bit annoying indoors and thought a large screen door on the main entrance would have been an advantage. Would have liked the local cafe/trattoria opened for dinner and not just lunch.
Local attractions We Had a very enjoyable meal on our last night at the castle restaurant .

*Zwembad hadden we vaak voor ons alleen

*De ligzetels aan het huis zijn heel positief

* prachtig grote tuin

Pros What did we not like! It was faultless - spacious, well equipped, lots of outside space, beautiful swimming pool, great location...we loved it!
Cons Nothing
Local attractions The Osteria at Castle Brolio is one of the loveliest restaurants we have visited - you can have a 4 course tasting menu with wine for each course for only 50 Euros and you sit outside with lovely candles and great service. Arezzo was beautiful - the fresoces are sublime and I loved seeing where my favourite film Life Is Beautiful was filmed. San Giminagno is also well worth a trip. Sienna is beautiful but finding a parking space was a nightmare - take advantage of being so near and go early...(unlike us)

What were the highlights of your stay?    Relaxation. Chianti Classico. Views. Walks. Swimming Pool. Peace. Sienna.
What was your overall impression of the accommodation?    Suited us perfectly.
Did you have any unpleasant surprises during your stay with us?
Do you have any other comments regarding the accommodation or service? Our very small Hire Car sometimes scraped on the steep drive up to the villas. We learnt to creep up it very slowly!

Thank you for a second lovely holiday in Tuscany. We hope there will be more, perhaps with the whole family (3 generations).

What were the highlights of your holiday? The stunning scenery of Tuscany and of course the wine!!!
What was your overall impression of the accommodation?    The accomodation was beautiful and exactly as pictured on your website
Did you have any unpleasant surprises during your stay with us? The location of the Villa whilst beautiful was extremely steep for walking. It would not be a place to go if you were unfit or elderly, and the nearest town was a 30 minute drive down a steep and winding mountain road.
Do you have any other comments regarding the accommodation or service?
