Borgo Santa Chiara is a small, well-maintained hamlet in a peaceful setting on the edge of the Il Pelagone Golf Club, making it an appealing choice for guests who enjoy golf as well as those simply seeking relaxation in the Tuscan countryside. Surrounded by the open landscapes of the Maremma, the estate offers an inviting atmosphere and attractive villas with a thoughtful mix of private and shared garden spaces. A communal swimming pool provides a welcome place to cool off on warm days, while the calm surroundings encourage rest and unhurried days outdoors. An additional advantage is the proximity to the coast, which can be reached in around 20 minutes by car for easy seaside excursions.

The small town of Bagno di Gavorrano is just a ten-minute drive away and offers cafés, restaurants and everyday amenities including a pharmacy and grocery shop. The coastal town of Follonica, known for its long sandy beaches and excellent facilities, lies only 14 kilometres away. The wider Maremma region is rich in history and natural beauty, with highlights such as the medieval town of Massa Marittima, the ancient Etruscan site of Vetulonia and the Parco Naturale della Maremma. From Punta Ala or Piombino, boat trips to the Tuscan islands are also easily arranged.

About the villa 
Ulivo is a beautifully designed ground floor apartment, decorated in warm neutral tones and furnished in a contemporary, comfortable and elegant style. The kitchen includes a cosy indoor dining area with a small round table and chairs, framed by wide floor to ceiling glass doors that open onto the lush green garden. The large lawned garden is bordered by hedges on both sides, offering added privacy.

It is possible to rent a private beach space at Pratoranieri, 18 kilometres away, with chairs and a parasol for an additional fee. Please enquire with our team on site upon arrival.
