Casale Vecchio Fienile is a charming holiday accommodation in a peaceful location on the gentle slopes of the Chianti hills. It is ideal for larger families or groups of friends who enjoy spending time together while also appreciating a degree of independence. The property consists of five small apartments, which together form a harmonious complex yet still offer each guest privacy.

The apartments are set within extensive grounds surrounded by the Tuscan countryside. The small hamlet of Sant’Appiano is about a 20-minute walk away and offers a good restaurant and a children’s playground. The town of Poggibonsi is only a 10-minute drive away and provides all amenities, including several supermarkets. The medieval town of San Gimignano, with its UNESCO World Heritage listed centre, can be reached in just 30 minutes and is also  famous for its Vernaccia white wine and the award-winning Gelateria Dondoli. Florence, Siena, Volterra and Pisa also make excellent destinations for day trips.

The property enjoys a rural setting surrounded by well-kept lawns. Behind the buildings, slightly elevated, lies the large swimming pool, a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the Tuscan sunshine.

Each of the five apartments has its own entrance. Except for apartment 2, all are located on the ground floor, making them easily accessible for guests with reduced mobility. Apartment 5 features a large dining table, perfect for shared meals with the entire group.

The interiors have been carefully restored, preserving traditional features such as wooden beam ceilings, vaulted brick ceilings, and terracotta floors. The furnishings are comfortable and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere for a relaxing stay in the heart of Tuscany.

A communal laundry room with two washing machines and one dryer is available for all guests.
