Galenda is a small, charming hamlet set on a ridge in the heart of the Chianti Classico, offering beautiful views over olive groves and vineyards. The individually designed holiday accommodations are built from natural stone and each has its own furnished terrace, ideal for relaxed al fresco dining and peaceful moments enjoying the scenery. One of the highlights of the hamlet is the large, kidney-shaped shared swimming pool, surrounded by a generous lawned area. Tall hedges provide privacy and a calm setting, while a separate, circular children’s pool next to the main shared pool makes Galenda equally suitable for families. It is a place where guests can truly unwind and enjoy the relaxed Tuscan lifestyle.

The hamlet is located just 4 km from Lecchi, where you will find the excellent Ristorante Marlborghetto and a small but well-stocked grocery shop. The pretty medieval town of Radda, with further shops and very good restaurants, is around 6 km away. Numerous wineries in the surrounding area offer wine tastings, including Casanuova di Ama and Castello di Ama, while the famous Castello di Brolio can be reached in about 20 minutes. Siena, Arezzo and Florence are all excellent options for memorable day trips.

About the villa
Masaccio at Galenda is a bright stone villa with comfortable furnishings, thoughtfully designed across two separate parts. One part features a spacious dining kitchen, while the other offers a comfortable lounge, creating a relaxed and practical layout. From both the dining and living room, you step out into a large private garden with sun loungers and a terrace with comfortable table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining, with plenty of natural shade from the trees.
