La Capannina is a charming Chianti holiday home, perfect for a family of four or two couples looking for a peaceful stay surrounded by nature. Set in the rolling Tuscan countryside, just a few kilometres from the historic hill town of Colle val d’Elsa, the house offers a large private pool and open views across the surrounding greenery.
The location is ideal for exploring the cultural and culinary highlights of Tuscany. San Gimignano with its iconic medieval towers is only 14 km away, and Siena, Florence and Arezzo are all easily accessible for day trips. Colle val d’Elsa, known for its crystal glass production, is just a 10-minute drive and offers supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The nearby villages of Campiglia and Le Grazie have a few small local stores, and nature lovers will enjoy the Parco fluviale dell'Alta Val d'Elsa with its 4-km-long SentierElsa walking trail – perfect for a riverside picnic.
Though close to amenities, La Capannina enjoys a peaceful and rural position. The house’s large covered terrace, complete with dining table and lounge furniture, is ideal for relaxed meals outdoors.
The traditional two-storey stone house is carefully maintained and furnished with style. Inside, the décor combines terracotta floors, exposed beams and natural stone with high-quality furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout.

This is our 5th time at the villa. We love the garden, pool, location and the villa has everything you need. The villa, garden and pool are kept very tidy. We have booked already for next year. I think that says it all.Our favourite restaurants are La Graziev and the restaurant in the village. We also enjoy visiting the local bar which is very friendly. We love walking and exploring the white roads and especially walking into Colle de Val d’Elsa. The café in the old town sells excellent cakes. Not to be missed. Catching the bus from Florence and Siena is a must. Driving to Voltera and San Gimiagno. Both hill top towns but very different.
