La Casa di Radda, Radda in Chianti - Siena and Chianti

This was our second time staying in this lovely villa, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The location is perfect, the villa is spotless and comfortable, and everything we needed was right there. It truly feels like a home away from home. We’re so happy we chose to come back, and we’re already looking forward to returning again next year. Highly recommended!

The location is perfect, and the nearby small town of Radda has everything you could want – excellent restaurants, delicious ice cream, cozy coffee stops, a great butcher, and fantastic wine shops

Lovely property well located on the edge of Radda within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

Olinto restaurant was one of our favourites. Siena, and Lucca were beautiful and worth a day trip. San Gimignano seems like a tourist trap and not a lived in town nowadays but still impressive architecturally. Tentuta di Carleone just down the hill is great for wine tasting in a lovely setting.

The house in Radda is great. Spacious, clean and a very nice outdoor area. The beds are firm and sleep wonderfully. Unfortunately it was just too chilly for swimming, we would love to come back again when it's warmer. The surroundings are of course fantastic and the nice thing about this house is that you can walk into the village quite easily. Be prepared for a somewhat steep climb, but after that you can enjoy one of the many terraces and restaurants there are in Radda. Holly was very easy to reach and answered questions quickly. She also produced a fine book full of tips in the area. We had a very nice time, and would love to come back again.

Although the weather was not fully cooperating, the accommodations were great and we managed to get to all the places we wanted to visit. The small town atmosphere and the ability to get to many interesting places from this location was great.

The best was Dante's with such a great new team of owners and good food. Lovely times there and we always went back! For day trips we visited the Siena market, Castello Montenrinaldi (fun people),La Lastra (excellent wine tasting and great meal) we learned a lot there, Tenuta di Carleone, Volpaia,and San Giorgio a Lapi. All were a fun time to just spend time in nature and relax. Everyone we met was welcoming and a joy to meet.

We really enjoyed our week in this beautiful house. Everything is exactly as described and well maintained. The owner of the house is super friendly and made sure we have a good time. The small town of Radda is very nice with good restaurants and shops. Just a few steps away. Also a plus for owner of EVs: A charging station is just a couple of meters away.

La Casa di Radda is an incredible villa. We were a family of 5 adults staying at the villa and we all had a fantastic week staying here.

The villa is equipped with everything you shall need, whether you fancy putting some feasts together in the kitchen or hiding from the afternoon sun in the living room and playing cards listening to music.

However, the star attraction for us was the pool and outside terrace area where we spend a lot of our time.

We used the villa as a base for exploring further afield in the Tuscan region with San Gimignano being a stand out. Radda in Chianti Olinto restaurant - great food, wine and service. Would 100% recommend Pizza pie - great pizzas and service. Would 100% recommend Lo Sdrucciolo - great bar for wine, cocktails while also serving great ice cream and pastries. Again, great service. Would 100% recommend. San Gimignano - Guardastelle wine tour, small intimate tour and some amazing wines to taste.

A wonderful week spent with my husband, my brother and his wife. It was just blissful.

This is the 4th Villa I have stayed at with To Tuscany, and by far the best. The location is perfect, as you don’t need to drive. It’s a 5 minute stroll up the stairs or via the road for a coffee, pick up something from the Coop or just have a little mooch around the town.

We love to cook, so La Casa di Radda provides all you need. Having a private pool, is just the icing on the cake. You can lounge next to it, under an olive tree, or enjoy the view from the terrace.

Holly was excellent to deal with and very helpful with various requests. We will definitely be returning!

In Radda: Pizza Pie. It’s family run and probably the best pizza we’ve ever had. Also do takeaway. Relais Vignale on the terrace for delicious char-grilled steaks and enchanting view. Quite pricey Casa Chianti Classico is a former convent that does wine tastings or simply enjoy a glass of Chianti from the terrace, with another beautiful view Bar Sandy. Great coffee and gelatos.They also do sandwiches and pastries, vino and birra. Consistently good and always busy. Lo Sdrucciola for a vino or birra, which you can take across the road and sit on the wall. Particularly lovely to do early evening before dinner.

The villa met every expectation and more. Within a few minutes walk of the town centre was a huge plus and added to our enjoyment . Holly was so helpful before our arrival, checking us in late and checking we had all we needed during our stay. A great host

Alles war bestens! Wir haben uns in La Casa di Radda ausserordentlich wohl gefühlt. Sowohl das Haus als auch die Terrasse und der Pool sind einfach fantastisch. Der Kontakt mit der Gastgeberin war vom Check In bis zum Ckeck Out während der ganzen Woche rundum positiv. Und auch ihre umfangreichen Empfehlungen zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Ausflügen haben wir gerne genutzt. Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Unsere Restaurantempfehlung in Radda (Laufentfernung < 10 Minuten): Colle Bereto. Alles ausgesprochen lecker. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Besonders zu empfehlen: die Ravioli und das Rumpsteak.

Casa di Radda was a perfect place for a vacation in Chianti. An easy walk to town and centrally located to all of the key Chianti villages and cities, it was an outstanding location. The villa was extremely well furnished with everything we needed for living and cooking. The outdoor space is wonderful. The grounds are well managed and both Holly and Luca were available if anything was needed. They were both excellent hosts and provided us with a great vacation. We appreciate the work by To Tuscany, especially in rescheduling (we originally planned to go in 2020). We enthusiastically recommend both To Tuscany and La Casa di Radda.

Easy day trips to San Gimignano, Siena, Montepulciano and Florence. Wonderful small villages nearby, especially Volpaia and Vertine. Great food available in Radda at Bar Dante and Olinto. Outstanding lunch at Bar-Ucci in Volpaia. Great dinners at Bottega di Volpaia and Osteria di Panzanelle in Lucarelli. Make sure you visit the Sunday market in Panzano with a visit to the butcher shop of Dario Cecchini.

Das Haus ist wunderschön im toskanischen Landhausstil gebaut - die Lage ist perfekt, direkt unterhalb der kleinen hübsche Stadt Radda - fußläufig einige Restaurants und ein toller Feinkostladen und auch Bäckerei zu erreichen.

Sehr herzlicher Empfang - alles war reibungslos und perfekt. Man konnte die Besitzerin immer erreichen auch für Fragen bzgl der Umgebung, Reservierung in Restaurants etc. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
