Set high in the hills, not far from the city of Pisa, this well-appointed villa provides the perfect perch from which to gaze out over the romantic red rooftops and medieval churches of the delightful town of Calci to the Tuscan hills that roll out to the horizon. Sleeping six in three bedrooms with three bathrooms, this single storey terracotta-toned villa is ideal for families with young children or older relatives, with everything laid out on one level. Characterful, light-filled interiors include traditional Tuscan touches, with wooden beams and terracotta tiles throughout. The large open-plan living-dining-cooking space guarantees a sociable atmosphere. Outside, a few steps from the rear of the house, you’ll find your private pool in an elevated hillside position, surrounded by the olive groves of La Pieve estate. The covered wooden pergola here is likely to be the scene of many enjoyable al fresco meals.

Die Angaben bei ToToskana über das Ferienhaus Oleandro haben voll dem tatsächlichen Zustand entsprochen.
Die Lage war sehr schön, einsam und die Aussicht einfach grandios. Das bedeutet allerdings, dass ein Feldweg durch malerische Olivenhaine nach oben führt. Zu Fuss etwa 10 Minuten. Aber mit etwas Geschick auch mit dem Auto gut zu meistern.
Das Haus war zweckmäßig eingerichtet und ist sicher im Hochsommer durch seine toskanische Einrichtung (Terrakottaboden, nicht übermäßig große Fenster) angenehm.
Einziges Manko waren die Matratzen in den Betten: sie waren sehr hart.
Erwähnenswert war auch noch der Pool: sehr schöne Lage , tolle Erfrischung.
Die Schlüsselübergabe hat sehr gut geklappt und Herr Tommaso war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.
Gerne wieder.Sehenswert auf jeden Fall das Naturkundemuseum in Calci. Die Gelateria L" incontro Da Serafino hat uns mehrmals gesehen, da das Eis sehr gut ist. Die Pasticceria Andreoni in Calci führt leckere süsse Teile und ist auch zum Frühstücken gut geeignet. Einkäufe sind im COOP vor Ort gut zu erledigen.
