Villa Barbara, Peccioli - Pisa and Valdera
Villa Barbara is located on an agriturismo, surrounded by meadows and fields with beautiful views of the hills around Volterra. It is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday with family or friends, far from the crowds and immersed in the Tuscan countryside.
Just three kilometers away lies the charming village of Fabbrica, which offers a bar, a pizzeria, a grocery store, and a pharmacy. The town of Peccioli is less than 20 minutes away by car and has received awards for its successful blend of medieval heritage and contemporary art. Volterra, known for its Etruscan and medieval history, is only 20 kilometers away. Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, and the coastal town of Livorno are all easy to reach for varied and memorable day trips. The Renaissance city of Florence is about 88 kilometers away.
The holiday home is in a peaceful countryside location with views over gentle hills and a nearby fishing lake. The brick-built villa features a covered terrace with a dining table and chairs in front of the house. Two more pergola-shaded terraces are near the large pool – one with a cozy seating area, the other with an additional dining table – giving guests the freedom to choose where to enjoy their meals outdoors.
Inside, this two-storey holiday home is elegantly understated, with terracotta floors, wooden beamed ceilings, and neutral wall colors. The high-quality, comfortable furnishings are tastefully selected, and thoughtful details complete the harmonious overall impression.
