We loved our stay in this beautiful villa and Lorenzo was very kind, helpful and always available. The pool was amazing and the jasmine and broom were in bloom and smelled divine. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Having AC units in each bedroom was very nice. The views were amazing and the town of Gaiole was very charming. To Tuscany had excellent recommendation for private check to cook for us one night. Some areas of improvement: The villa was clean, other than we had to clean mold off the downstairs shower with some vinegar when we first arrived. The rug in the living room should be replaced. The kitchen is very small and neither it nor the bathroom adjacent appears to have been updated as recently as the ensuite bedrooms/bathrooms. The small refrigerator really needs to be replaced, as it wasn't adequately keeping the food at the front cold enough, and if the food was toward the back, ice formed on it. The door to the kitchen should be removed so that you can open the refrigerator door all the way. The storage closet is awkward as the door opens inward so nothing can really go in there. There needs to be more oven proof dishes (there was only one broiler pan to use in the oven). There should be more flatware and dishes. Perhaps the large entry bathroom should be reconfigured/remodeled to also have a storage closet for non-refrigerated food and additional cookware and dishes. Or the storage closet could be reconfigured into a pantry for those items.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Gittori. My partner and I visited along with my brother and his family, and everything was flawless from start to finish. Lorenzo was incredibly helpful before our arrival, gave us a warm welcome, and stayed in touch throughout our visit to ensure everything went smoothly.

The villa is beautifully situated on a hilltop, offering stunning views and sunlight over the pool from morning until evening. We especially enjoyed using the wood-fired BBQ one evening, dining in the charming outdoor spaces, and relaxing in the pristine, well-maintained pool. It was the perfect setting for our first trip to Tuscany, and we all agreed it couldn’t have been better. We’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and family!

We stayed at this beautiful villa in early May 2025 with a group of six friends, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting for our getaway. Just a three-minute drive from the charming town of Gaiole in Chianti, the villa is fully renovated, featuring brand-new furniture and a stylish interior that blends comfort with elegance. The views from the house are absolutely breathtaking—rolling Tuscan hills as far as the eye can see. We were also lucky with the weather and had the chance to enjoy the pool and soak in the full charm of the countryside. A big thank you to Lorenzo for his warm hospitality—this place truly felt like a hidden gem, and we’re sure this won’t be our last visit!

Fantastic villa with three spacious bedrooms all with excellent ensuite bathrooms. Lorenzo, our host, is lovely and made every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. His offer of a change of bed and bath linen after one week was much appreciated, and the excellent cleaners even cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen, etc. The house was so very clean which we all found amazing and surprising as we had experienced very different circumstances in other villas we've rented. The gated grounds were perfect for us as we had our 2-year-old dog with us, a very inquisitive Swiss white shepherd. Pool and garden area lovely. A few minor suggestions for improvements: the kitchen we found too small and impractical (consider additional dinner plates, glasss, cutlery etc. and perhaps remove the door to allow the fridge to be opened properly?). And with the temperatures we experienced (35°c and above), the fridge couldn't keep up with the ice and cold drinks needed - perhaps put an additional fridge/freezer in the laundry room? We also needed more shade outside and here Lorenzo kinded provided two additional umbrellas, and mentioned that they were planning on adding a second pergola next year - excellent idea! We loved staying in Villa Gittori, we'd highly recommend it and Lorenzo is a gem ☺️

Try the restaurant Lorenzo works at in the town, great selection of steaks! We also went to a pizzeria and grabbed some to take away, delicious. A trip to San Gimignano is a must. We were lucky enough to time our visit with an excellent exhibition of Ai Weiwei at one of the galleries.

We had a spectacular time visiting the Tuscany region. The villa Gittori is a private setting with extraordinary views of winery vineyards, a fabulous pool and a very comfortable living room and bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. We as a family with young adults enjoyed the outdoor living space at night. My husband is cyclist, rented a bike from the local rental shop and rode daily. A big thank you to Lorenzo for recommending the best restaurants in sightseeing opportunities in the region. He's a fabulous host. Hoping to return in 2025.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus, super lieber und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, wir kommen gerne in 2025 wieder! Das Ferienhaus war super ausgestattet, es war alles sauber und aufgeräumt. Bei Ankunft erwarteten uns kühle Getränke und Obst, Lorenzo war super als Gastgeber.

Auch ein großes Lob an das gesamte To-Toskana Team, selbst bei einem Sturz von unserer Mutter war das gesamte Team sowie auch der Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit!

Es war alles perfekt!! Wir fühlten uns sofort direkt wohl. Es ist der perfekte Ort für Ruhe, Entspannung und Kraft tanken. Der Inhaber Lorenzo ist sehr zuvorkommend, er antwortet immer superschnell, ist sehr freundlich und geht auf alle Wünsche ein. Wir hätten es nicht besser haben können, vielen lieben Dank für alles. Die Küche ist mit wirklich allem ausgestattet, von schönen Weingläser über genügend Geschirr bis zu Käseraffel - es fehlt nichts. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön, bequeme Bette und jedes Zimmer mit eigenem Badezimmer. Wir können das Haus, den wunderschönen Garten mit Pool voll und ganz empfehlen. Wir durften eine wunderschöne Woche verbringen. Vielen lieben Dank für alles!!

Siena und Arezzo sind sehr schöne Städtchen die wir besucht haben. Fein gegessen in Gaiole haben wir in der Osteria Al Ponte und Lo Sfizio.. Zweimal haben wir Pizzen bei Pizzaria It Ciamparini Corrado geholt und auf der herrlichen Terrasse beim Haus genosse, auch sehr lecker!!

Gittori is a beautiful villa set high in the hills of Chianti overlooking the lovely town of Gaiole and many beautiful vineyards and olive groves. The villa is half a mile from the town and exceptionally quiet and peaceful.

We stayed for two weeks and for a long period there were six adults staying. The villa is spacious and very clean. All the amenities at hand you will ever need.

Lorenzo the host was absolutely incredible and couldn’t help us enough. Always ready to respond to requests and giving advice on the best places to visit.

We have visited Italy on many occasions and this was one of highlights. I highly recommend this villa for someone seeking a getaway into the stunningly beautiful Tuscan countryside.

The best restaurant in Gaiole is the Osteria Al Ponte. Fantastic menu which is consistently delivered to the very highest quality. The staff are amazing, friendly and professional and all speak perfect English. Alma the owner is absolutely amazing and supported by her incredible team Enza, Lessen, Lorenzo and Valmer. An exceptional experience for either a couple or larger group. For wine, olive oil and a wine tasting tour visit La Casa di Bricciano. A beautiful small winery where the owner Paola greets you with the best Italian charm and friendliness. Paola’s English is perfect and the wine tour ridiculously underpriced in comparison to other wineries. We tasted five wines along with a wealth of knowledge shared about the wine making process. A selection of meats cheeses and breads were available to compliment the tasting. Must visit locations include Gaiole, Siena and Radda.

Das Haus ist ein absoluter Traum mit herrlicher Lage. Es ist wunderschön, gemütlich und liebevoll eigerichtet. Der Pool und die ganze Anlage sind sehr gepflegt. Vom Inhaber, Lorenzo, wurden wir sehr herzlich begrüßt. Er ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber, der uns zur Begrüßung Wein, Saft, Wasser und Prosecco in den Kühlschrank stellte. Auch eigenes Olivenöl durften wir benutzen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.
Der Weitblick vom Haus und die Ruhe waren fantastisch.
Lorenzo hat auch ein exklusives Restaurant in Gaiole, in das wir gleich am ersten Abend gingen. Das Essen ist ein Traum. Lorenzo hat uns auch Tipps gegeben und für uns eine Weinprobe organisiert.
Ein absolut gigantisches Ferienhaus, das auch idealer Ausgangspunkt ist für Ausflüge nach Florenz, Siena, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Monteriggioni, Radda etc.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.
