Francesca 1 at Villa Ricetro, Montemagno - Camaiore - Lucca and Viareggio

Villa Ricetro is a small and very peaceful hamlet set in the hills of northern Tuscany, made up of just three stylish holiday villas overlooking the plains of Viareggio. From this elevated position, views stretch across the landscape as far as Torre del Lago Puccini, where the composer Giacomo Puccini lived and created some of his most celebrated works, including Tosca  and  Madama Butterfly. Each villa has its own furnished private garden, ideal for relaxing and enjoying meals outdoors. Beautifully maintained communal gardens lead to a shared pool with comfortable sun loungers, providing a wonderful place to relax and cool off on warm summer days. A communal barbecue area with table and chairs under a pergola provides a lovely setting for relaxed evenings together.

The small village of Montemagno is around a 15 minute walk away and offers a bar, a small grocery shop and a couple of restaurants. About eight kilometres away lies the welcoming town of Camaiore with shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The elegant seaside town of Viareggio, known for its long sandy beaches and lively promenade, is just 14 km away. Each summer, the famous Puccini Opera Festival takes place at the nearby Lago di Massaciuccoli. Lucca, Pisa and Florence are all excellent destinations for day trips.

In the perfectly maintained garden there is a fenced pool area. This is located a short distance away, down a slope in the garden. It's a lovely area with plenty of furnishings to relax under the warm Tuscan sun. Within the garden there is a shared stone barbeque near a table and chairs. The three villas each also have their own private areas, directly in front of their entrances which are furnished.

Francesca 1 is a spacious ground floor holiday apartment with a bedroom on a mezzanine level, making it a lovely choice for a couple. The pretty garden with its shaded dining area is perfect for enjoying relaxed meals outdoors or simply unwinding. Inside, traditional wooden beamed ceilings and comfortable furnishings create a warm and welcoming feel.
