Our flexible no change fees policy

Life is full of surprises even at the best of times, and we've always done our best to accommodate guests when their plans have to change. However, now more than ever, we understand that you need security when planning your trip so we've updated our 2021 cancellation policies to allow even more flexibility, making booking with us more flexible than ever.

We won't charge for changes to your booking

If you make a booking with us and decide to change before your balance payment date, we'll place a full deposit credit on your account to be used as a deposit for future bookings in 2021 or 2022. Balances for 2021 bookings are due 65 days before arrivals.

Full Refunds for Cancellations made by us due to Covid-19

If we have to cancel your booking due to Covid-19 or travel restrictions in Italy, we will contact you to discuss your options. In order to keep your dream trip alive, we will offer to move your booking to a later and safer arrival date or a deposit voucher for the sum you have paid to use on a future booking. Of course, if you would rather a refund, we can offer this too.

What are my options if I decide I don’t want to travel?

If you decide not to travel before your balance payment is due, we are able to change your booking dates or issue you a deposit voucher to be used for future bookings in 2021 or 2022, without amendment fees. If you decide not to travel after your balance has been paid our normal terms and conditions apply.

What if the Italian authorities ban travel to Italy on my arrival date?
If travel to Italy is not permitted on your arrival date due to travel restrictions by the regional or national government where your villa is located, including non-essential travel warnings and quarantine measures on arrivals to where your villa is located, our villa specialists will contact you to help find the best possible solution open to you. In order to keep your Tuscan dream trip alive, we will offer to move your booking to a later and safer arrival date or offer a deposit voucher for the sum you have paid to use on a future booking. Of course, if you would rather a refund, we can offer this too.

What if one of my travel party is advised not to travel?
If you are advised not to travel due to Covid-19 by health professionals, track and trace or your local government our normal terms and conditions apply. We recommend you contact your travel insurance, most current travel insurance providers include cover for cancellation or changes to travel plans due Covid-19.

Can I purchase Covid-19 travel insurance from you?
No, we do not offer travel insurance. Click here for recommendations and help with your travel plans, when you purchase travel insurance remember to express your own personal circumstances and read all the terms and conditions regarding what is and is not covered. If you are unable to find the policy you are looking for contact us and our villa specialists will help find the best possible solution open to you.

How and when can I redeem my deposit voucher?
If you are ready to redeem your deposit voucher issued from a previous booking impacted by Covid-19, contact us and our villa specialists will help set you up with a new booking. Your deposit voucher is transferable to another person and valid for bookings in 2021 and 2022.

Am I permitted to travel to Italy?

What steps are you taking to keep your guests safe?
The health and safety of our guests has always been of paramount importance to us. During the Coronavirus pandemic, we have been constantly reviewing and updating our cleaning policies and procedures together with our villa owners/managers and our team in Tuscany to ensure compliance with the strict standards set out in Italian law.

Where can I get a Covid-19 test in Italy?
You can get a Covid-19 test in Tuscany in most large towns. Our villa owners/managers, together with our team on the ground are working to find the most convenient testing site for each of our villas so you can get a test when required.

How often will the villa be cleaned?
Your villa will be cleaned prior to your arrival. For bookings of more than one week, additional cleanings will be carried out at least once per week as part of the villa price. In some villas, midweek cleaning is also included. Additional cleaning services can be arranged for any villa on request for an extra fee.

Will anyone access my villa or apartment during my stay?
No one will enter your villa during your stay without your prior knowledge which may be for prearranged services such as cleaning or emergency maintenance works. We understand that privacy for you and your travel party plays an important part in being able to fully relax on holiday and your safety is paramount.

What if I have Covid-19 symptoms while in Italy?
If you have Covid-19 symptoms or have come into contact with someone who is infected with Covid-19, you should inform the owner/manager of your villa, who will help you to arrange a Covid-19 test as a matter of urgency. It is important that you follow the advice of the medical professionals and local authorities.

Are Italian Airports open?
Yes, airports continue to operate in Italy. Airports across the world are taking precautions to protect customers and employees, and to prevent the spread of Covid-19. For specific information, we recommend you contact the airline with whom you are flying or refer to the relevant departure/arrival airport’s website.

Is Italian car hire open?
Yes, it is still possible to arrange car hire in Italy. Car hire suppliers are working to ensure the safety of their employees and customers so extra health and safety measures may be in place. Please check with your car hire supplier directly to confirm their procedures and requirements.

What should I pack to stay safe in Italy?
Your safety and that of your entire travel party is paramount to us. It is important to keep your hands sanitised and wear a face mask in all public places while in Italy so pack suitable face coverings and hand sanitiser for you and your travel party.
