Montefiorile is a peaceful hillside hamlet in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, set within one of Tuscany’s most beautiful landscapes. The holiday homes are arranged along a sunny south-facing slope and enjoy sweeping views across rolling hills carpeted with vineyards. Each property has its own private garden or terrace and features traditional terracotta floors and ceilings that reflect the warm, authentic Tuscan style. The layout of the hamlet has been carefully planned so that beautiful views unfold from almost every corner. Mature oak trees provide welcome shade during the heat of the day, while the shared pool offers a refreshing escape. In the evenings, the surroundings become wonderfully calm, with wildlife emerging and stars glittering in the dark sky. Montefiorile is car free, with a large parking area at the entrance, and due to its hillside setting, steps lead to each holiday home. To preserve the tranquil atmosphere, we recommend this hamlet especially for adults seeking a quiet and relaxing holiday.
The picturesque village of Lecchi lies just 1.5 km away and can be reached on foot via a well-maintained, gently hilly path. Here you will find the excellent Ristorante Malborghetto and a small but well-stocked grocery shop. Another charming village within walking distance is San Sano. The medieval town of Radda in Chianti, with shops and good restaurants, is about 8 km away. Set in the heart of the Chianti Classico wine region, Montefiorile is surrounded by wineries offering tastings, including Castello di Ama less than 2 km away and Castello di Brolio, reachable in around 25 minutes by car. Siena, Arezzo and Florence are all great options for memorable day trips.
About the villa
Il Sole is a detached villa with its own garden and a furnished terrace, as well as a second naturally shaded dining area at the rear of the house. It is perfect for enjoying meals al fresco or simply relaxing while taking in the beautiful views of olive groves and vineyards stretching to the horizon. Inside, wooden ceiling beams and terracotta floors combine with comfortable furnishings to create a warm and homely atmosphere.

Heel mooi vakantiehuis in klein vakantiecomplex diep in de Toscaanse heuvels. Laatste km er naartoe is een grindweg. Il Sole heeft geen directe buren. Terrasbalkon met uitzicht op de heuvels en nog groter terras in de schaduw. Er is een mooi zwembad, niet verwarmd maar watertemperatuur was (augustus) prima. Verder heel rustig en in de avond was het heel (wind)stil. Alles aanwezig in het huis, inclusief handdoeken en vaatwastabletten. Omgeving ook heel mooi, groene heuvels, mooie plaatsjes en prachtige Chianti-wijn. Afstanden hemelsbreed niet groot maar door de bochtige wegen ben je wel al snel een half uur aan het rijden om ergens te komen. Wel opletten dat je de sleutel bij je hebt, de deur valt in het slot.Osteria/bar Renaldi in het dichtstbijzijnde dorp Lecchi, wijndorp Volpaia, ijs in Castellina. Verder bijzondere waterval bij Colle di Val d'Elsa.
