Located in the centre of this small hamlet, close to the pool area is La Torre Vecchia. This two bedroomed villa has two floors and a large covered upper terrace with gorgeous views over Tuscan vineyards and hills.
The entrance to the villa is via a small courtyard up a flight of stone stairs to the main entrance. The front door leads directly into the kitchen/diner. The beautifully appointed modern kitchen with its beamed ceiling and tiled floor, has wooden fitted units with built in oven, dishwasher, double stone sink and a fridge. The separate island unit has gas hobs with extractor unit and plenty of storage space. The dining section has a large wooden table and chairs and a raised open fireplace.
From the kitchen/diner three steps through a brick archway lead into the spacious lounge area. This has plenty of comfortable chairs and a large ‘L’ shaped sofa arranged around the open plan fireplace that dominates the room. This is a great place to relax and watch the TV or read a book away from the heat of the day.
The family bathroom is next to the lounge area. This room certainly has the wow factor, with its stone tiled walls, separate vanity unit with modern basin, huge mirrors and ornate slipper bath with telephone taps and expensive fixtures make this a very luxurious bathroom.
A marble curved staircase with rope handrail takes you upstairs from the kitchen/diner. The master bedroom is a bright spacious room with three windows, all with views over the countryside and hamlet. There is a king-size bed and a built in wardrobe; to one side is a further single bed and air-conditioning unit. This would be an ideal room for parents with a younger child.
Across the corridor from the master bedroom is the upstairs bathroom. This has beamed ceilings and stone tiled walls with expensive fixtures including a very sizeable shower.
The second bedroom has beamed ceilings, tiled floors and a double wrought iron bed. It also has a large wardrobe and air-conditioning unit.
Outside the front door there is a large covered terrace with table and chairs. This is a great place to dine ‘al fresco’ because of the stunning views across the vineyards and Tuscan countryside. There is also a stone courtyard with chairs in which to relax. The swimming pool is just across the footpath from the villa, past the ornate domed brick structure which houses the old well.
Beautifully decorated villa in an ideal location for families.
Mosquito screens are on all the windows. The two bedrooms have air-conditioning, for which you pay extra per use.
