Set on the edge of a small, peaceful hamlet fringed by forest, Casa Brogi is a Tuscan villa ideal for couples or families looking for a peaceful holiday where they can wind down to the slow-pace of Italian village life. The attractive town of Greve in Chianti – the gateway to the Chianti region – is close by, while wine an olive oil tasting, tennis, golf and other activities are also within easy reach.
The villa’s large grounds mean that everyone can find their own space for a little peace or a lot of fun, passing lazy days splashing in the large private pool or just relaxing around it, taking in the views of the surrounding hills. There’s a large terrace off the lounge with a quirky fan-shaped roof, and a second games terrace across the lawn with a ping-pong table – a bonus extra. Inside, the airy lounge combines the traditional with the contemporary, with terracotta-tiled floors and comfy modern furniture, and offers plenty of relaxation space.

Our Thoughts
We love the space offered by this two-storey rural villa, whose setting means it offers complete privacy. The large pool and covered games terrace will keep guests of all ages amused, while the property is also near to the lively Chianti town of Greve.
Notes
Five bedrooms. Three bathrooms. There is a garage.
There are hooks over each of the beds on which to hang optional mosquito screens, which are provided by the owner.
Pool
The pool is in the large garden. It has a tiled surround and access via Roman steps. It measures 13 x 6 meters, 40 cm to 2.50 metres deep and is open from May to September.
