Casa di Pesa is a charming Chianti holiday home with a well-kept garden, a beautiful pool, and traditional Tuscan character. Set on the Carma wine estate, this stone house is divided into two separate apartments with private entrances, making it ideal for two couples travelling together while enjoying their own space.
The property is located in the heart of Chianti Classico, with easy access to the region’s renowned wineries, castles, and historic towns. Siena, San Gimignano, Florence, and Arezzo can all be reached comfortably for day trips. The nearby town of Radda, just 5 km away, offers a good selection of restaurants, small shops, and local cafés.
Casa di Pesa enjoys a peaceful countryside setting with sweeping views of olive groves and wooded Chianti hills. The slightly elevated position ensures a calm and relaxing atmosphere, surrounded by nature.
The two-storey stone house features a large covered terrace for outdoor dining, as well as two additional terraces – one next to the house and another with panoramic views – plus a tiered garden with plenty of seating options for relaxing at any time of day.
Inside, guests will find a warm and welcoming interior with terracotta floors, exposed wooden beams, and traditionally styled furnishings that reflect the rustic charm of the region.
The friendly owners live in a separate part of the house with their two cats and one dog. They occasionally use the pool when guests are away but always respect the privacy of those staying at the villa.

Wir wurden in unserem Ferienhaus von Alexandra, der Besitzerin dieser wunderschönen Anlage, sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Unterkunft besteht aus zwei separaten nebeneinanderliegenden Wohnungen, die äußerst gepflegt sind. Dies bietet zwei komplette separate Wohnbereiche, Beide Wohnungen sind komplett ausgestattet und bieten alles für einen erholsamen Urlaub.
Wegen des regnerischen und kühlen Wetters konnten wir leider das sehr saubere Schwimmbad und den schönen Freisitz mit Blick auf das Chiantigebiet nur einmal richtig genießen. Die Besitzer des Hauses bewohnen das obere Stockwerk. Sie bewirtschaften einen eigenen Weinberg mit edler Chianti-Traube. Massimiliano hat uns in seinen Weinkeller geführt und uns Interessantes zu seinem Weinberg und der Historie des herrlich renovierten Hauses erzählt. Die Besitzer sind äußerst hilfsbereit, wenn man ihrer Hilfe braucht.
Wir waren begeistert, können das Ferienhaus bestens weiterempfehlen und werden bestimmt wieder kommen.Der nächste Ort ist Radda. Dort gibt es einen COOP- Supermarkt. In Radda und in Castellina in Chianti gibt es viele gute Restaurants. Wir möchten aber ganz besonders La Vin'Osteria in La, Via Villa di Sotto, 16, 53017 Radda empfehlen, wo wir besonders gute typisch toskanische Küche genießen konnten.
