The property is well placed for days out in Perugia, Cortona, Gubbio and Assisi, but you will have to wrench yourself away from its delightful embrace. Six bedrooms, split between the main house and a cottage a few metres below, mean that up to 12 people can share this piece of Umbrian heaven.

Its interiors make it a serious contender for a visit during the cooler months of the year.
