The Tuscan house has a delightful garden where a perfectly manicured lawn area is fringed by native bushes, flowers and olive trees ensuring your privacy.
A sun graced terrace lays in front of the house. Here a pergola offers shaded dining for four people and an outside grilling area. An intimate plunge pool is surrounded by an elegant seating area. Laze on a sun lounger on the lawn by the pool, aperitivo in hand, and you'll soon get the taste of the Tuscan life.
Casetta di Petriolo's air-conditioned master bedroom and twin room share a bathroom with the living space on the same floor. The immaculate interiors combine bright and fashionable furniture with Tuscan terracotta floor and cieling tiles laid on chestnut beams. A fire place will add to the cosy atmosphere in the shoulder seasons.
Less than 3km is the ancient town of Cerreto Guidi which dates back more than 1200 years. The hilltop town's defining feature is the UNESCO Medici Villa on the peak of the town used as a hunting lodge. Now the lanes that circle the town are decorated for annual Palio and furnished for al fresco seekers. It is possible for guests to walk to Cerreto Guidi over the fields.

Zuerst einmal das einzig negative: unser Hund und wir, waren sehr traurig, dass der wunderschöne Urlaub schon zu Ende war :-)
Das Häuschen ist einfach perfekt und sehr toll.
Die Lage ist ruhig aber nicht einsam, man hat eine herrliche Aussicht und kann toll entspannen.
Im Haus, alles perfekt, die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet, vom Pizzaschneider über Sieb bis zu diversen Pfannen und Töpfen, Teller, Gläser, Besteck.
Alles vorhanden und auch reichlich vorhanden.
Salz, Zucker, Pfeffer, Spülmaschinentabs, Mückenspray ….. alles da!
Wir haben noch nie ein Ferienhaus erlebt, das so für die Feriengäste ausgestattet war.
Und sollte es einmal irgend ein Problemchen geben, unser Vermieter, Iuri, hat sofort geholfen!
Der Pool konnte beheizt werden, wir waren zu einer etwas regnerischen, kühlen Zeit dort, auch das ist traumhaft.
Der Garten sehr gepflegt und komplett abgeschlossen, fast jeden Tag fährt der Mähroboter automatisch los.
Zum Pool säubern gibt es auch so eine Maschine und wenn man Wäsche waschen möchte/muss, auch eine Waschmaschine ist im Schuppen vorhanden.
Einfach der Wahnsinn!
Und die Lage, wie schon einige andere geschrieben haben, ist ideal.
Durch die zentrale Lage in der nördlichen Toskana kommt man überall schnell hin.
Unser Fazit: Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!La Bottega Di GaBe und Ristorante Corsini in Fucecchio sind sehr gut, wie auch die Osteria di Golpaja in unmittelbarer Nähe
