Le Balze is a former barn that has been lovingly transformed into a charming and stylish villa. Surrounded by the typical Tuscan landscape, it offers the perfect setting to fully experience the unique atmosphere of this beautiful region. The peaceful location in the heart of nature makes it an ideal retreat for a relaxing holiday with family or friends.

The towns of Terranuova Bracciolini, San Giovanni Valdarno and the medieval village of Loro Ciuffenna are all just a ten minute drive away, offering restaurants, small shops and daily essentials. Closer to home, in fact only a couple of minutes, is the restaurant Osteria l’Casolare . Loro Ciuffenna, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, enchants with its Romanesque bridge over the river and frescoes in the Church of Santa Maria Assunta. Montevarchi with large supermarkets is only 10 km away, and from the Montevarchi Terranuova train station there are direct trains to Florence, a stress free way to visit the Renaissance city. Nearby are the fascinating rock formations Le Balze, which Leonardo da Vinci even included in the background of the Mona Lisa. Siena, Arezzo, Cortona, Lake Trasimeno and the UNESCO listed Val d’Orcia are also excellent options for day trips.

Painted in a soft cream tone with grey shutters, the villa sits at the end of a cypress lined lane, capturing the authentic charm of Tuscany. The well maintained garden with lawns, flowers and several seating areas invites relaxation. The pool lies just a short distance from the house in a particularly beautiful area of the garden. Under the loggia, meals can be enjoyed outdoors, while the tastefully furnished conservatory with floor- to -ceiling glass doors beautifully connects the indoor and outdoor spaces.

Inside, the original character has been carefully preserved. Wooden beamed ceilings, pastel wall colours, a harmonious mix of modern and antique furniture and wooden floors in the bedrooms create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
