The exterior is a varied combination of elegantly designed terracotta patio and lush green lawn .It boasts of well-equipped pergolas, a barbeque and a pizza oven - perfect for al fresco dining.

The interior design is a combination of classic Tuscan style, modern finishes and antiques from the 19th, 18th and 16th centuries.The communal areas here are the kitchen and the lounge, both of which possess a homely and welcoming atmosphere. Wooden slatted shutters frame the windows and keep the house cool. But it’s the grounds of this villa that really stand out. The large chlorine-free swimming pool is ideally placed to admire the wonderful countryside views, as is the exquisite sheltered balcony with its plush furniture and coffee table. All of this is without mentioning the lush green hedges and trees, as well as the beautifully arranged flowers to add colour to the surroundings. A splendid summer hideout, and a feast for the senses.

2km away is the small historic town of Cerreto Guidi, which includes a grocery store, a pharmacy and a bank. There are also local museums, a variety of fine restaurants and an equestrian centre. An interesting place to visit is Villa Medicea - recognised as a Unesco World Heritage Site - where every year between July and August there are several historical re-enactments of great interest. And during the Sagra del Papero e del Cinghiale, food festivals dedicated to wild boar and excellent wines are held at the Chianti DOCG exhibition. 4km away from the villa is the town of Vinci, the birthplace of the great artist, inventor and scientist Leonardo da Vinci. Here, there is a museum is dedicated to his life and work, as well as more excellent restaurants and a golf club.
