Villa location
Guest reviews: Aia di Ama

We had such an amazing stay at Aia di Ama. The photos do not do it justice. The gardens are stunning and lovingly maintained by Biancamaria and Maurizio. The villa was spotless and well maintained and the kitchen is appointed with everything you need and more. We made great use of the outdoor BBQ area and our young son loved being in the clean pool. The villa is secluded with beautiful views over the Chianti countryside, but just a 15 minute drive takes you to a variety of towns with supermarkets and great restaurants.
The villa does not have air conditioning and it was difficult to sleep when the temperatures were in the mid-thirties. Biancamaria was keen to help by arranging fans for the bedrooms and the lack of air conditioning has not put us off from wanting to return. We would not want the charm of the place to be spoilt by air con units.
Finally, it was lovely being met on arrival by Biancamaria and Maurizio. They were so welcoming and friendly and keen to show us all the villa had to offer. They were on hand when needed but respected our privacy during our stay. We cannot wait to return to this beautiful villa and area and to see Biancamaria again.Be sure to visit Casanouva di Ama for their wine tasting with lunch. Just a 15 minute walk from the villa, the wines and olive oil are excellent and Daniella is such a kind and friendly host. A real highlight of our trip.
