Fienile at La Ripa, Ulignano - San Gimignano - Siena and Chianti
Agriturismo La Ripa is a small hamlet of three Tuscan rental villas and the owner's private villa. It is a short distance away from San Gimignano whose towers can be seen from a section of the garden. Within walking distance is the small town Ulignano. The pool is down a few steps, a short distance from the villas. Each villa has its own garden. There is also the well maintained communal gardens and a small olive grove which guests can enjoy. The garden has plenty of trees, providing shade from the warm Tuscan sun, and shrubs providing plenty of privacy. Though there are limited views, it is a wonderfully silent and peaceful estate not far from a town.
There is one friendly and calm dog which is free to roam the garden. This must be kept in mind if you plan to bring a pet.

Allgemein schönes Feriendomizil, bisschen kleiner als auf den Foto´s suggeriert wird. Alles sauber und ordentlich auch im Poolbereich. Beim Thema Müll fühlen wir uns getäuscht, hier wurden uns 30€ abgeknöpft ohne eine wirkliche Erklärung wofür und wie das genau funktionieren soll. Haben wir SO in der Toscana noch nicht erlebt. Im Nachhinein hätten wir unseren Müll auch leicht selbst und kostenlos entsorgen können. Der Freisitz leider mitten auf dem Grundstück, somit von allen Nachbarn einsehbar. Hier fehlen auch Liegestühle oder ähnliches. Auch Möglichkeiten zur Freizeitgestaltung wie z.B. Tischtennisplatte o.ä. sollte man noch integrieren um die Kinder zu beschäftigen. Ansonsten nette neue Leute kennengelernt, und das Domizil kann man durchaus weiterempfehlen.
Wij zijn tot 2x toe naar Florence afgereisd per trein vanaf Certaldo. Geen moeite met de auto en milieuzones en genieten van de uitzichten onderweg. Aanrader in Florence is het interactieve museum van da vinci. San Gimignano is dichtbij en biedt tal van mogelijkheden voor lunch en diner. Kleine tip: tussen 17 en 19u stroomt het stadje leeg met dagjes mensen en openen de restaurants langzaamaan hun deuren. Het perfecte moment op het stadje te bezoeken en van de uitzichten met zonsondergang te genieten.
