Il Forno is a ground floor apartment in the hamlet’s main building located on the left of the central courtyard. The stone terrace in front of the entrance is bathed in sunshine throughout the day. This one bedroomed apartment is a great place for couples to stay.
A large brick archway has been converted into an attractive entrance door, which opens into the lounge area. This is comfortably furnished with a sofa/daybed, chairs and side tables. To the left at the far end of the lounge there is a small alcove which has a desk, chair and bookshelves.
To the right is a doorway through to the kitchen diner. This has a dining table and chairs, and is fully furnished with built in oven with gas hobs, dishwasher and fridge with freezer section.
A further doorway from the lounge, leads to a small hallway which has the bathroom with shower off to the left with the bedroom opposite on the right hand side. The spacious bedroom is comfortably furnished and has a double bed, wardrobe and armchair.
Outside the furnished stone terrace is surrounded by rosemary, lavender and the Mediterranean planting in the courtyard. This is a lovely spot to sit of an evening dining ‘al fresco’ or to relax with a glass of the local wine.
The patio of Il Forno opens onto the courtyard fragrant with lavender and rosemary. From the small square in front of the chapel there is a beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside and rolling hills beyond.
