Situated in the heart of the historic Montebuoni Hamlet, and built out of hand carved Tuscan stone is the delightful single storey cottage, La Contessina. The property is close to the main footpath that runs through the hamlet.
Three stone steps lead to the front door which opens into a charming open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with traditional beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors. There is a comfortable sofa, dining table chairs, a cd player and an open fireplace. The fully furnished kitchen has a double sink, large fridge/freezer, gas hobs, dishwasher and a microwave oven. (Please note that there is no traditional oven in this property).
Leading off from this room is a smaller lounge area with tv, which can also double up as an extra bedroom. It has a sofabed which has a further single bed that pulls out from underneath. From here doors lead to the bathroom with shower and also the master bedroom with double bed.
Outside the wisteria covered terrace has dining table and chairs, and is surrounded by a well maintained garden. Sitting here you have views of the hamlet’s small chapel and the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
